It has been a while since there was a post on here. Today I am substitute teaching and I had a thought that I would like to share…it’s more of a question I guess. But here it is:
We are all part of God’s plan. From the smallest of creatures to the largest of galaxies. Each one of us serve a particular purpose at a particular point in time. However, God works outside all of this. He works outside time and space. So here is my question.
Can we pray for something in the past and it have an impact?
For example, if we find out that we have a great, great grandfather that was murdered before he was able to grow old, could we pray today that someone might have told them about Jesus? And could God have known at that time that a great, great grandson would someday pray for salvation and thus he grants it?
I know it is a strange thought but I also think about simple things. Such as praying for someone that is speaking in front of a lot of people. If I forget to pray in the moment, can I pray after it happens and still have an impact?
I am not sure this theory works on prayers for yourself, but I think that we can impact others lives.
In Christ’s Love,
